ONE-PIECE WELDED STAINLESS STEEL
Each LEVEL5 One-Piece Joint Knife requires 17 assembly steps and nine hand polishing steps. A patent
pending, full tang design with 3 internal points of control provides outstanding durability. Other features
include a curved design where the handle meets the blade to enhance rigidity for a perfect mid-blade flex,
and all robotically-welded seams have been mirror polished until undetectable.

JOINT KNIVES & TAPING KNIVES
Stainless Steel Blades
LEVEL5 stainless steel blades feature a higher iron content than most competitive blades. This enables the
blades to hold an edge longer, while also delivering better flexibility, durability and performance. Due to
the higher iron content, LEVEL5 stainless steel blades may experience minor corrosion under extreme
conditions.
For the longest life, we recommend that all LEVEL5 finishing knives be cleaned and dried between uses,
and store the blades upright to ensure any remaining water drains out from the handle.
Carbon Steel Blades
Joint knives with high carbon steel blades are sometimes preferred by professional finishers because of
their additional flex and ability to hold an edge longer. However, unlike their stainless steel counterparts,
carbon steel blades ARE NOT corrosion resistant and require special care between uses.
We recommend the knives be cleaned thoroughly after use, then lightly coated with WD-40 or a similar
product prior to storage. The knives should also be stored upright while they are drying, to ensure water
doesn’t collect near the handle.

For its soft grip stainless steel hand tools, Level 5 Tools offers a LIFETIME WARRANTY to the original owner
that these products will be free from defects in material and function. This warranty is valid only in the
USA, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom and Europe. A one (1) year warranty applies in all other
countries/markets.
STANDARD HAND TOOLS, SKIMMING BLADES & ACCESSORIES
For standard Level 5 Tools, other than those listed above, the Company offers a one-year warranty from
date of purchase to the original owner that these products will be free from defects in material and
function. This warranty is valid only in the USA, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom and Europe. A one
(1) year warranty applies in all other countries/markets.
